Love your list; we never had one but just seized what opportunities came our way — and fortunately many did and do. I would suggest there are many amazing places in the U.S. to see not on the coasts; just start with the list of National Parks. Crater Lake, Yosemite, Sequoia and all the parks in Utah are among our favorites.
I love this! your bucket list has inspired me! I have always had a travel bucket list, however I am now going to add on experiences that id like to have. I have followed 🙂

Really enjoying your blog, you’ve visited some amazing places! You should add Iceland to your list!
I love your blog! It is so inspiring! My friend and I aspire to be globetrotters like you!
Wow, that’s a long but super awesome bucket list you got there! 😀
Awesome bucket list..I am glad India is in the list :):)

Great list! Looking forward to reading you complete more items! http://www.itsalistthing.co.uk
Good on you!! You’ve motivated me to add more to my bucket list 😛
FAB blog, enjoyed reading your bucket list – i really should write mine down – all in my head! You can come whitewater rafting here in the Alps! Happy travels 🙂
When you visit India, make sure that you don’t miss Dera Beas (Amritsar) in North India. It’s an offbeat place which is not even listed under tourist destinations. I visited it this month and was so surprised that I don’t remember how many times I asked myself – “Am I really in India ? ” I can’t describe everything in short ; I am gonna blog about that place within few days. Will be happy to give you few ideas if you happen to visit Himachal Pradesh- one of the most beautiful states in India 🙂
great bucket list will definitely add some too mine http://jessicajamesinthecity.wordpress.com/
I love your blog 🙂
I am so happy I ran into ur blog!! 🙂
I’m happy you did too! 😉
Very detailed list ……I have one not as detailed going to need to do some revisions. Thanks for helping to motivate others and those of us that like to travel. Check out my blog if you get a chance http://www.adventuresofdejav.com …..can’t wait for future post
What a great post! I just wrote a similar, but not as detailed post… if it’s not on a list, it doesn’t get done!
HI Meghan,
great blog. 🙂
where is the picture on the left taken? (background) It reminds me of home (South Tyrol, Italy).
I see on your bucket list that you want to get better at horse riding. Wanna come to see us in Greece, a paradise place with 12 horses, (www.yogaandhorseridingingreece.com), North Evia, simply stunning! I fell in love with the place when I first set foot on it.
Best wishes,
Carmen
Horseback riding in Greece? Does life get any better than that? Very tempting, Carmen! 🙂
check it out! http://www.yogaandhorseridingingreece.com/
I’m gonna be there on 28th April teaching yoga! come!!!!
Loved reading your bucket list. Want to do one of my own soon. If visiting Scotland any time soon let me know and can recommend what to see, stay, eat, drink etc.
I like your idea of the bucket list. Maybe I add one to my blog!
it’s a great bucket list! i see you put Indonesia up there, and i very very recommended Indonesia to you! you can do many things in Indonesia!
So, this is really random and you do not know me at all but I just came across your blog and was inspired. I am currently making my own blog and have many of the same ideas you do as far as what to share. And strangely my bucket list is in three sections as well… interesting. It wasn’t until I saw you volunteered with CCS that I was really taken back… and in Peru!! So cool. I volunteered with CCS in Ghana and am actually venturing to Peru in January to volunteer and travel solo.
Just want you to know you are inspiring others with your stories and insight on the world. Please continue to share and best of luck to you. I hope your lists continue grow and you enjoy putting that check mark next to each one that is completed.
This list is awesome, I hope you don’t mind but I’m using it as a template for a Bucketlist of my own (just the Milestone, Activities, and Places). Good luck with your travels. You’re inspiring for sure 🙂
I don’t mind at all, Cadence! (What a beautiful name, by the way). Good luck writing your list (or rather, finding a stopping place; mine keeps expanding!).
I seriously recommend Morocoo – I’ve recently returned and have written a couple of blogs if you’re interested in reading 🙂 Thanks for this weeks song by the way, I always wondered who sang Papaotai!
Thanks Kelly, I’ve always wanted to visit Morocco. If I left it off this list it was a major omission! I’ll be sure to read your posts about your experiences there.
And isn’t that a great song? I’ve had a crush on Stromae since Alors On Danse. 🙂
I never made an official “bucket list” but have made something similar. it’s hard not to write everything down haha 🙂 best of luck on these. – connie
Isn’t it Connie? Mine expands much more rapidly than I’m able to cross items off. 🙂
Happy to see Philippines on your list. Enjoy my country 🙂
I hope to make it there one day, Jade!
That’s a pretty exciting and adventurous ‘Bucket List’.
But….Milk a cow?
Okaaaayyyy. Don’t knock it till you try it I guess.
What a great list. I might have to steal a few ideas!
Feel free! I’ve stolen a few of these from friends anyway. 🙂
Hi. You might want to check my blogs for a peek of things to enjoy in the Philippines. Thank you and keep writing and inspire people! (–,)
I will, beautsantua! The Philippines is a place I’d love to see some day.
Any infos you might need, I’m just here. =)
Love the Istanbul photos.
That’s an exhaustive bucket list 😀 Which reminds me, I should get started on mine.
(I may or may not steal some ideas off your list 😉 )
Thanks Surya! Writing these things is both inspiring and intimidating. I think I need a couple more lifetimes to do all that I want to do.
I’m sure you’re going to manage just fine 😀 Looking forward to updates and more tick marks 🙂
Good bucket list! I hope to hike the Milford Sounds soon and I can’t wait! I’ll send you some photos!
Cool bucket list! Most of those places are on my bucket list as well… In 2 weeks I’m starting the Middle East trip, if you were interested you can follow it on my blog 🙂 Cheers and good luck with your trips!!!
http://www.one-penny-trip.com
Awesome! I will definitely follow along with your journey. Best of luck and be safe!
‘burning man’? I’ve heard it’s best experienced from a boondocked Airstream! 😉
Visit the Philippines and get multiple things from your bucket list of activities done. Surfing, white water rafting, zipline and even milking a cow! Maybe add diving too.
After volunteering in Uganda for six months I have to say that this country must be added to your list. It’s known as the Pearl of Africa and for good reason. There is nothing better than living in the bush, along The Nile with no electricity, and waking up each day to beautiful little chocolate faces. http://www.sixtyonethree.wordpress.com
“Have a dog” and “photography cafe” are tops!
Love your lay out and what you share on your blog. I love that Scandinavia/Norway are on your list. I had never had it on my immediate bucket list but have had the opportunity to live in Stavanger for the last year and a half. The country is so beautiful and glad to see you plan to enjoy it one day. Also – if you ever want to join an amazing volunteer program in India, check out Rising Star Outreach! Not exactly yoga based, but I’m sure you could combine it somehow to create an unforgettable experience (and some very successful micro-financing happening!)
That’s a really inspiring list! 🙂 Romania is a lovely country (the countryside only though!) and dirt cheap.
Oh my goodness, I’m so inspired! Looks like you live a very full life. :).
Happy travels,
Currie
awesome list you have got there Meghan..I am on you path as well 🙂
http://talkingexperience.wordpress.com
You have inspired me so much, thank you! Wow.
Also, if you want to go ziplining somewhere truly amazing, I recommend Cape Tribulation Jungle Surfing or ziplining in Cairns, Australia. Tropical North Queensland is also the only place in the world where two world heritage areas collide! Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef 🙂
Cool travel bloggers I follow went to Cape Trib recently, to illustrate better what I’m trying to say! Very beautiful 🙂 http://www.ytravelblog.com/cape-tribulation-and-the-daintree-rainforest/ (<— this isn't my blog in any way, so I'm not trying to shamelessly self promo haha, just an enthusiast!)
Love your blog, can't wait to look at it all!
Genevieve
Wow this is an awesome bucket list, I have to say it is very intricate!
Yes, I tend to go a little overboard with brainstorming sometimes, Sandra. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for stopping by!
So enjoyable when blog authors share their bucket list…♥♥
It’s a really fun exercise to do, actually! The only problem is that it inflames my already raging wanderlust. 🙂
I am inspired to pull one of these together! I look forward to reading about you checking them off!
Thank you, Lauren! I’ll be sure to keep the updates coming. Looking forward to checking off Istanbul and Prague next month.
This is an AMAZING bucket list! What an inspiring blog!
You should add The Philippines to your list 🙂 I’ll be your guide!
The Philippines have officially been added to the bucket list! Thanks, curiouscities. 🙂
The PI is awesome. You will definitely enjoy your stay there.
Ooh I can also be your other guide in the Philippines if you want! 🙂 I’m based in Manila 🙂
Excellent! I feel like I have so many friends in the Philippines already. 🙂
I’m sorry…….. I dont see Poland up there?!>?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You deeesrrespekt me like dat?!
😀 I agree with you! Poland is incredible!!
Can you add “open a photography’/poetry/art cafe with Roxanne”, in which we make everything in it, from scones to wall art? 😉
Done. No, seriously, I added it. It’s happening.
